When reporting an issue, it helps to include your device model, iOS version, the app version (shown in the app’s Settings → About), and a short description of what happened.
Frequently asked questions
Does the app work offline? Yes. Listen World runs entirely on your device, so it works without an internet connection.
Is my audio sent anywhere? No. Your microphone audio and speech are processed on your device and are never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy.
Why does it need microphone and speech-recognition access? Both are required to listen to speech and transcribe it on-device for translation. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
Why does translation quality vary? Automated, on-device translation depends on audio clarity, accents, and the language pair. Some languages are labeled Beta and may be less reliable. Please don’t rely on translations for critical situations — see our Terms of Use.
